Health Care: What an Honest President Would Say
This guy was a political advisor to Bill Clinton. Some things he says I agree should happen, some things I think shouldn't happen. In any case the political system he outlines is what a lot of people think the government should do with healthcare.

lol. Aww, we won't live longer? We have to pay more? O_~!
Staying informed is one of the problems. I know I'm not very informed about current events, regardless of level of importance. College seems like a sort of bubble away from all of that; and I am sometimes distrustful of news sources. :O

lolol college is supposed to make you MORE informed not LESS!!!
@loves_mud -
Hehe but I would say you should always be distrustful of all news sources!

Oh god...I'm taking an exam on healthcare delivery systems in 3.5 hours (which I will faill).
Seriously, it's effing complicated. After nearly reading a whole book about it, I still don't really understand it @_@

lolol that's horrible! Good luck. You can do it!!

How did it go?
The truth about healthcare for everyone is obvious to anyone who has traveled abroad to other countries who are doing it. The truth is somewhat like he said, healthy people have to work harder and pay more so that sick people can have the care they need. The truth is we cannot have everything we want and have it for free. The truth is that in leveling the medical care playing field many will be taking a step down in level of care, quality of care and availability of care so that others can take a step up. The truth is that in this compromise we have to consider whether what we get is worth the price we will have to pay for it and I don't mean just the monetary price.

Yeah, that's a pretty good characterization of it, I would say
