World Peace: One step at a time
I've posted this video here before, but it is important, so I will post it again.
World peace is happening. Even though the United States always manages to get in a fight somewhere, the number of wars in the world is less than the number of wars 25 years ago. And the number of wars 25 years ago is less than the number of wars 40 years ago. It is happening, but just by being aware of it, we can help move it along. Share, if you can!

They make world peace sound more realistic than what I had imagined before; I always thought it only possible whenever the Big Crunch might occur
, since even plants fight each other to survive. Some people aren't very rational though, but maybe those people will be out of power by then?

Yeah, I think it is easily possible. The problem with crazy leaders will be solved because no one can go to war unless a good portion of their people also want to. For example, when the US attacked Iraq, 80% of Americans supported it. But it would be hard to build support for attacking Mexico, and as more people realize that war isn't necessary, then fewer people will support it.

"War requires the active collaboration and cooperation of people who are not generally evil." That reminds me of the shock experiment conducted by Miligram & how it related with stuff that occurred during WWII.
Very true.
I watched the little snippet of the Author of "Born To Run."
Makes sense...in a strange way.
Peace is always just out of reach. The Civil Rights Movement was not that long ago...seriously.
But it's good to see kids these days looking past racial boundaries and "cross-breeding" if you will. Makes me smile.
