  • My Sister

I have been trying to think of what I could write to describe how cool my sister is, but it's hard to describe. I went and spent the weekend with her, she is back in California after being at college for all winter, and she has totally gotten cool and interesting. Like, she is totally not a girl anymore, she is a woman. She pays attention to those around her to make sure they are feeling happy, she is really great at thinking of things to do, she says funny things; when we are together we just joke back and forth building on each other's jokes. She is awesome. Here is a picture of me and her at death valley:

It was her idea to take that picture that way. Of course she is not perfect, she is still young and immature and inexperienced in many ways, but she is moving in the right direction and she is great to be with. I can't be too demanding, she is only 19. So I am happy to be her brother :)

  • Thanks for the birthday wish. How have you been?

  • Definitely a perk of growing up (:...family just seems so much more reasonable/easier to get along with! I've actually been really close to my sister most of my life, but things were rough a bit ago, but getting better I think. :)

Ah, Death Valley is incredibly lovely! Though I can't imagine it during summer (I visited during winter, so it was actually quite comfortable, though threats of rain--> flash floods were frightening). I see you are sporting a water bottle! :)
