Shoe art
I have been trying to draw again, this time I drew all my shoes.
I felt very depressed with this one while I was drawing it, then I came back a little while later and realized it wasn't too bad. Maybe half of learning how to draw is figuring out how to get over your own sense of pessimism.
My black K-Swiss sneaker.
My Tiger shoes. I think this was my best drawing.

Cute! Which remind me of my niece - Jue, she draw everything and anything. And she do it for fun!

Yeah, shoes are great. Maybe you should try barefoot.
Ah, have you read The Little Prince? (:! I love the drawings in there, especially the ones at the beginning. It is hard not to get discouraged sometimes, but those do look pretty nice (:!

Yeah, something weird about it, like right as I start drawing each time, there is like this huge inside voice, telling me how bad I am, that it's so ugly, that I'll never learn to draw, and it makes me want to tear up my drawing. Then I relax, let the feeling flow away, and I can see clearly and it is easy (to keep practicing). I wonder why that voice is there, but other people have mentioned they have similar experiences. Maybe learning to overcome your voice of discouragement is key to accomplishing anything.
That is something I have been thinking about lately.

(Online version of The Little Prince--pictures included! Just in case ^^).
It is good that you are able to ignore the voice though (:. I suppose that is part of the journey & accomplishment there is in the final piece. I guess it is one of those unseen things that actually matter a lot:
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
So even if the shoe doesn't turn out exactly how you wanted it to, those pictures are still probably pretty valuable to you because of what it took to even put them on paper (:, right?

Thanks for the link, I remember the pictures now. Can you see the elephant I drew?
I don't know that they are valuable, only in that they show I am improving, and that makes me feel happy. Eventually I want to improve enough be able to draw what is in my heart, in a way that anyone can see it. Then I will be really happy.

With time and practice..! & a lot of persistence, I suppose! (: I'll look forward to seeing more of your drawings (:
