Evolution of how I dress
I used to only buy clothes when the ones I had wore out. Sometimes I wore hand-me-downs. As I've developed a fashion sense, the clothes I wear have changed.
First I wanted to find clothes that just didn't look bad. I kind of had an idea of colors, and learned to recognize which clothes fit and which didn't. That was great, girls started noticing me a lot more at that point.
Then after a while I realized how I dress portrays who I am as a person. I tried to wear clothes that made me look powerful. I tended to get clothes that looked like a capable businessman, with a nice suit, an overcoat, or a wild explorer (think Aragorn from Lord of the Rings). I can move from the boardroom to the backwoods in the same afternoon (and look good the whole time!). I did things like try on $5000 suits. haha. So much fun. You should try it if you haven't.
Now I've changed again, instead of wearing clothes that cover me up, that make me look powerful, I've been going for clothes that sit back and let the real me come out. I am powerful, even if some of the power is latent. I don't need clothes to show that to people. All I need to do is let the real me shine through. So more simple things, maybe a t-shirt (which is easier now that I am in better shape, ha!), I don't need to get exotic wool suits (even though they sure are nice). It is I who makes my clothes look nice, not the clothes that make me look nice.
The end.

Your dress can also portray what you lack as a person.
How goes things?

Thanks, not bad, I am on vacation. It's much more fun to think about clothes making you feel cool though, I think. It took me a long time to get any fashion sense, though.
